You know what’s painful?
Having thoughts. Having ideas.
And watching yourself not say them.
Not because you don’t know.
Because being seen feels expensive.
That feeling is more common than people admit.

Playing Small isn't always loud. Sometimes it looks like:
- becoming quieter around certain people
- overexplaining simple things
- waiting to feel more ready
- making your achievements smaller than they are
- convincing yourself you don’t really want that much
And because these things look “normal", we don’t notice we’re doing them
I’ve done all of these at different points in my life. Not because I lacked confidence. Usually because somewhere underneath - being visible felt risky (And no, most people don’t realise they’re doing it)
Just curious—
Which one felt uncomfortably familiar?

You know what to do.
You’ve read the books.
Saved the reels.
Thought about it 100 times.
But somehow—
you still don’t do the thing.
Or you keep becoming smaller than the version of you that you know exists.
I don’t think most people are lazy.
I think many capable people are carrying patterns they can’t see from inside.
That’s why I’m opening a few spots for:
The Real Shift

This isn’t advice.
This is a space to slow down and understand:
• what’s actually keeping you stuck

Same brain, different room
Someone enters -
- better English
- more polished
- more confident
And suddenly - you question yourself more, talk less, become smaller
Interesting 🤔
Your intelligence didn’t disappear, but your self-trust did
Comment below - Who triggers this most?
- Authority
- Fluent English speakers
- Successful people
- Stylish people
- Someone else - share who
You know what’s strange?
Sometimes we’re not unhappy with who we are
We’re grieving the version of us we thought we would have become by now
More confident. More disciplined. More visible. More sure of ourselves.
And quietly - that grief turns into:
- comparison
- overthinking
- feeling behind
Maybe this isn’t failure
Maybe this is your reminder to stop hiding from your own life while trying to improve it
Question -
What did younger you think life would look like by now?
