Essay writing competition organised by Nagrifarm fairtrade Welfare trust during It's SGM on 27.12.2025

Nagri Farm was initially established as a dairy farm in 1857 by a British entrepreneur, Greenhill. However, the owner changed course and by 1883 it had been fully developed as a tea garden.
Prior to this Hospital it was residence of Greenhill.

उनकी कमी हमेशा महसूस होती रहेगी, हम सभी अपनी हार्दिक श्रद्धांजलि एवं संवेदना वयक्त करतें है,
भगवान दिवंगत आत्मा को चिर शांति प्रदान करें एवं आप सभी को इस अपूरणीय क्षति को सहन करने की शक्ति दे यही हम भगवान से प्रार्थना करते है।

On behalf of the Nagrifarm Tea Estate management and workers, we wish to thank especially our respected Director Sri I.G. Sqr sir of Chamong Group of Gardens, Trade union representatives and police administration for thier gracious presence on the auspicious occasion of Fairtrade Project Distribution Day on the eve of Merry Christmas and New year. Thanks to all for your support and cooperation to make grand success of the event. 🙏

Yesterday, the 30th January 2021, was an opportune moment for me to witness the ceremonial programme of the AGM of Fairtrade
Welfare Trust, Nagri Farm Branch held at your factory premises. It was so impressive to see all the events being executed in a disciplined and decent manner. The presentations of the secretary report and the annual balance sheet by the young women workers left many of us spellbound. The second part of the programme that included felicitations and cultural events too were all worthy of high commendations. The participations and cooperations amongst the committee members and the active support of the management, particularly the helping hand of Shree S.Darnal in the whole exercise deserve high appreciations. After watching the programme till the end, I noticed the sense of belonging being developed among the general workers. Thank you very much for your kind invitation. otherwise, I would have missed such a grand ceremony.
I wish you and all the members of the premium committee and of course, Shree Darnal Sahab, very very prosperous, peaceful and fruitful times ahead.

गत २०२१ सालमा श्रीमान अर्जुन प्रधान ( भूतपूर्व प्रधान अध्यापक) नागरीफार्म निवासी सरलाई चियाबारीको सम्पूर्ण प्रबन्धकबर्ग लगायत श्रमिकहरूले वहाँको नेपाली साहित्य जगतप्रतिको अशेष योगदान लाई सम्मान दिदै "साहित्य रत्न" उपाधिसहित सम्बर्धना दिएका थियौ।
तर दैवको कस्तो नियति गत १३.११. २०२३ विहानीको मिरमिरे उज्यालोलाई अन्धकार बनाउँदै स्व अर्जुन प्रधान सरको 73 बैंशको उमेरमा असामयिक देहान्त भयो।
यस दुखद घडीमा शोकाकुल परिवारलाई ईश्वरले धैर्यधारण गर्ने शक्ति प्रदान गरून भन्दै समवेदना साझा गर्छौ। उहाँको दैविक आत्मालै बैकुण्ठबास गरून्। ऊँ शान्ति 🙏
