When Everything Feels Like It’s Falling Apart, Motivate Yourself Anyway!!!
There are moments in life when it feels like everything around you is crumbling.
Financially, things may not be going the way you planned.
Physically, your energy may be low.
Emotionally, you may feel exhausted.
Professionally, progress may seem painfully slow.
Personally, relationships and responsibilities may feel overwhelming.
And in those moments, motivation can feel like the last thing you have left.
But I have learned something important: sometimes, you cannot wait for life to motivate you. You have to motivate yourself.
I remind myself of my purpose.
Why am I doing what I am doing?
What kind of person do I want to become?
What kind of life do I want to create?
Then I remind myself of my goals. What makes me really kicked up about my future...
Not to pressure myself, but to remind myself that today's difficult situation is not necessarily tomorrow's reality. A bad phase is a chapter not the entire story.
I remind myself of my family. My reason to breathe...
The people who depend on me. The people I love. The people I want to make proud. Sometimes, their presence gives me strength when my own strength feels insufficient. They give me my purpose to go on...
And then I think about my future.
The future version of me who will look back at this difficult period and hopefully say, "I didn't give up when it was hardest."
I don't always wake up feeling positive. I don't always have the answers. Sometimes I am scared. Sometimes I am tired. Sometimes I question whether things will actually get better.
But I keep reminding myself:
Things can change.
What will really make me want to stay active and alive!
Whats my WHY???
A difficult financial situation can improve.
A health setback can pass.
A broken relationship can heal or teach us something valuable.
A professional failure can become a stepping stone.
And a painful period can eventually become a powerful story of resilience.
So, when everything around you seems to be crumbling, don't underestimate the power of simply keeping yourself going.
Take one day at a time.
Take one decision at a time.
Take one positive action at a time.
You don't need to have your entire life figured out today.
You just need enough courage to believe that something better is possible.
That is how I motivate myself.
I remind myself of my purpose.
I remind myself of my goals.
I remind myself of my family.
I remind myself of the future I want.
I remind my self of my WHY!
And then I tell myself...
"Keep going. This is not the end of the story. Hopefully, something better is just around the corner."
Sometimes, hope is not about knowing that everything will be okay.
Hope is choosing to believe that it can be.
FIND YOUR WHY TO FIND YOUR WAY!
