Screens are not the real enemy in parenting today — emotional disconnection is.
In a digitally driven world, children don’t just need Wi-Fi… they need warmth, presence, and genuine connection.

Parenting is evolving… and so are our children.
The world our kids are growing up in today is very different from the one we knew.
Technology, fast-paced lifestyles, emotional challenges, social influence, and changing family dynamics are creating a completely new parenting journey.

That’s exactly what inspired me to begin this new series:

🌸 “The Biggest Parenting Shifts Happening Today” 🌸

Through this journey, I’ll be sharing my thoughts, observations, experiences, and conversations around modern parenting, emotional wellbeing, connection, values, confidence building, and navigating parenting in the digital age. ❤️

If you’re a parent trying your best every single day — this space is for you.

Let’s learn, grow, and evolve together. 🌿

A parent teacher meeting is instrumental in bringing positive growth in the academic excellence of the students. They would be guided better after the teacher has taken inputs about the child from the parent and vice versa.
Questions related to PTM :
🔸Academic growth
🔸Communication skills
🔸Any behavioural issues
🔸Struggle related to any subject, skill, language etc.
🔸Status about his social relationships
🔸Participation in any extra curricular activities and the level of enthusiasm he shares
🔸At what level is he participation in class discussions or group activities
🔸Any assessments he is not comfortable in.

Suggestions :
🔸Share equally with the teacher about your child, so it becomes an easy communication circle for both.
🔸Don't restrict yourself in facing criticism, rather face them with smartly, so, you can motivate your child as well.
🔸Both the parents should try to attend the meeting , if not possible try to schedule another meeting with the teacher.
🔸Make the notes for what the teacher has to say and share about your child, as it would help to work positively for the betterment of your child.

✨The Importance of Parenting ✨

The parent-child relationship is crucial for a child's holistic development. Here are some reasons why understanding and nurturing this delicate bond are of paramount importance:

👉Emotional Development: The parent-child relationship profoundly impacts a child's emotional well-being. A loving and supportive environment builds a child's self-esteem, confidence, and emotional resilience.

👉Communication and Trust: Effective communication between parents and children fosters trust and openness. It encourages children to express their thoughts and feelings freely, enabling parents to address their needs effectively.

👉Social Skills: A secure parent-child bond serves as a model for healthy relationships. Children learn social skills by observing their parents' interactions, empathy, and emotional intelligence.

👉Behavioral Development: Positive parenting influences a child's behavior positively. When children feel loved and understood, they are more likely to exhibit cooperative and respectful behavior.

👉Academic Success: A strong parent-child bond encourages children to excel academically. It creates a sense of security, allowing them to explore and learn with confidence.
