3-Days Tribal Language Documentation Workshop-Cum-Training Successfully Concludes at Jamshedpur
*|| Abua Sanagam, Abua Unurum - Our Literature , Our Identity ||*

A 3-day *Tribal Language Documentation Workshop-Cum-Training Program* was successfully organized by *Tata Steel Foundation (TSF)* at *Tribal Culture Centre (TCC), Jamshedpur* from 18th to 21st August 2026

On behalf of *VBMT Odisha (A Sister Concern of Ho Student Unions Odisha)*, our *Turtung Ho Language Teacher* actively participated and documented the rich oral traditions of the Ho community.
The objective was clear:
To save our disappearing Songs, Stories.
The workshop was divided into 3 Major Groups. Our contribution was focused on Story, History & Identity.

*Group-1: Ho Durang / Songs Documentation*
1. Traditional Ho Songs (Baha, Mage, Heroh Bonga)
2. Harvest Songs
3. Children Songs & Rhymes
4. Ritual Songs
5. Dance Songs

Group-2: Our Main Theme - Kahani

We collected, recorded and transcribed the Warang Ksh*ti Script.

Tribal students' problems,To enhance Career Counseling College to college, Development of Ho Community Centre& Deshauli Pujastal at Birbasa, Bhubaneswar .
This Ho Community centre will support thousands of poor and needy students who are preparing competitive exams and higher studies in the Capital City of Odisha..
