पूर्वोत्तर के तीनों राज्यों के चुनाव नतीजे आने के बाद ये तय हो गया है कि त्रिपुरा और नागालैंड में बीजेपी गठबंधन की सरकार बनने जा रही है. जबकि मेघालय में किसी पार्टी को बहुमत हासिल नहीं हुआ है. त्रिपुरा विधानसभा की कुल 60 सीटों में बीजेपी को 32 सीटें हासिल हुईं तो लेफ्ट को 11 सीटों पर जीत मिली जबकि कांग्रेस को 3 सीट से ही संतोष करना पड़ा है.
