Have you ever eaten food made by someone who’s received a NATIONAL AWARD for what they do? 🤤

This menu at Kesar Bagh was curated by Chef Azan Qureshi, and after this meal, I completely understood why his work—and that of his family—has been so widely recognised. His family has specialised in Awadhi cuisine for decades, and now they’ve brought that royal culinary heritage to Assagao, Goa.

I still can’t decide what I loved most about our dinner at Kesar Bagh:
- Maybe it was the warm welcome from almost every member of the staff (all sporting exceptionally peculiar moustaches… and I never did find out whether that was a job requirement or a personal choice 😄), or
- the beautiful interiors and cutlery that make you feel like you’ve been seated in your own quiet little palace, or - the kind of food that makes you pause after the first bite and just go, “…oh wow.”

And if you know me, you know I never leave a restaurant without trying dessert. I can confidently say the best gulab jamun I’ve ever eaten was here. It was made with honey, and honestly… I had to exercise a lot of constraint to not order another one just for myself.

Definitely worth adding to your Goa itinerary — take it from a resident!

✨ 4 MONTH CLIENT TRANSFORMATION ✨
Big shoutout to my lovely client Janaki losing 8kg in 4 months while working a really hectic job, not having time to go to the gym and working through her confusion around food!

Janaki is a 31-year-old HR professional living in Singapore. When she started, she was dealing with insulin resistance, prediabetes and high cholesterol. She had focused many years on her career, but now she know she had to choose her health.

Busy professional women, this one’s for you.
