Little BACeans scored a heap of medals across various Inter School Swimming competitions across Bengaluru.

1. Play On Aqua Fitness Swimming Championship 2026:

1. Aarna Shenoy Kuppali - Gold 🥇in 50m Freestyle, Gold 🥇in 50m Backstroke, Gold 🥇in 50m Breaststroke & Gold 🥇in 4*25m Freestyle Relay.

2. Saiesha - Gold 🥇in 100m Freestyle, Gold 🥇in 50m Backstroke & Silver 🥈in 50m Butterfly.

3. Dhanik Gowda - Gold 🥇in 25m Butterfly, Gold 🥇in 25m Breaststroke & Silver 🥈in 25m Freestyle.

4. Dheemanth Gowda - Gold 🥇in 100m Medley Relay.

BAC won the Runner Up Trophy in the Play On Aqua Fitness Swimming Championship 2026. 🏆🥈

2. VIVA VIBGYOR Inter School Meet 2026:

Prisha Si won Gold 🥇in 25m Butterfly, Silver 🥈 in 25m Backstroke, Silver 🥈in 25m Freestyle & Silver 🥈in 100m IM.

Happy National Sports Day 🇮🇳

It’s a tremendous Joy to celebrate the National Sports Day 2026 being an Indian. India has always included sports in its Culture and Tradition since Ages. And Sports in turn has united all of us as Indians!🤝🫶

National Sports Day in India is celebrated every year on August 29th to mark the Birth Anniversary of the Hockey Legend Major Dhyan Chand. He was called a Wizard of Hockey for his amazing ball control. He helped India win 3 Olympic Gold medals for Hockey.

Government of India officially declared Aug 29th as National Sports Day or “Rashtriya Khel Diwas” in 2012, to inspire the Youth of India to take up Sports.

Let us remember the legend Shri Dhyan Chand and include Sports in our daily life. Sports keeps us Happy and Healthy.

Every Karnataka Swimmer and Everyone at BAC, feels ecstatic to know that Team Karnataka is the Champion in the Junior National Swimming Championships, Since 35 YEARS!!

This is very Special and emotional for us BACeans, as the team Karnataka had majorly BAC Swimmers all along.

Since its inception in 1986 under the able and Dynamic leadership of our Founder Mr. Neelakanta Rao Jagdale, Basavanagudi Aquatic Centre has contributed massively for the Indian and Karnataka Swimming.

BAC’s commitment and dedication to Karnataka Swimming is unshakeable. We continue to live by our slogan every single day, “We Build The Best”.

Final Day - Junior Nationals 📢

It feels immense Joy to share that Non Native Swimmers training at our BAC campus in Bengaluru are making a mark in National level Competitions!

Kayan Nathella, an outstation swimmer who trains at BAC won a SILVER 🥈in 4*100m Medley Relay event at the 52nd Junior National Aquatic Championships 2026.

Congratulations Kayan. Way to go 👏🏻🎉

Mongam Theerdhu Samadev grabbed a SILVER 🥈in the 200m Backstroke event with an excellent timing of 2:06.45, on the last day of the 52nd Junior National Aquatic Championships 2026.

Mongam trains exclusively at our Mangaluru BAC campus situated at Yemmekere.

Day 6 - Junior Nationals 📢

Our Gold Hunt continued till late evening yesterday at the 52nd Junior National Aquatic Championships 2026!

Naisha grabbed GOLD 🥇in the 200m Backstroke event with an excellent timing of 2:21.68👌

That was a wonderful swim Naisha. More power to you 💪🏼💐

Day 6 - Junior Nationals 📢

It was a visual treat to watch Team Karnataka and BAC in large numbers at the medal ceremonies on the last day of the 52nd Junior National Aquatic Championships 2026! 🫡

Monish P V struck a BRONZE 🥉in 100m Freestyle event with a good timing of 52.11.

Very well done Monish. Keep chasing the Big one, which is just a few secs away!

Day 6 - Junior Nationals 📢

The medal podiums of the 52nd Junior National Aquatic Championships 2026 were kept busy by BACians on the last day, yesterday!

Meenakshi Menon won a BRONZE 🥉in 200m Backstroke event with a good timing of 2:31.99. Her Zeal for excellence has fructified in this meet!

It rained precious metals for BAC and Team Karnataka at the 52nd Junior National Aquatic Championships 2026!

Priyanshi Mishra snatched a SILVER 🥈in 200m Backstroke event with an excellent timing of 2:29.13. Her performance in this meet has been very impressive and consistent.
