The Indian Cricketers’ Association (ICA) continues its heartfelt commitment to supporting retired players through the One‑Time Benefit (OTB) initiative - extended to members aged 60 and above who do not receive any gratis from their State Associations or the BCCI.

This recognition, carried out across FY 2023‑24, 2024‑25, and 2025‑26, celebrates the dedication and achievements of our cricketers while ensuring their well‑being and financial security in their post‑retirement years.

The ICA Board has approved a One-Time Benefit of ₹1,00,000 each for members aged 85 years and above (cut-off: June 9, 2026).

This initiative recognizes the growing financial and medical needs of our super senior members, honoring their lifelong contribution to cricket.

The State Chapter Meet for former cricketers of Hyderabad was successfully held in Hyderabad on the 8th June 2026, bringing together members of the Hyderabad State Chapter for an engaging and meaningful interaction.
The session highlighted ICA's unwavering commitment to supporting former cricketers through its welfare initiatives, player engagement programs, and efforts to strengthen bonds within the cricketing fraternity.
The meeting was attended by members of the ICA Board, including Ms. Shantha Rangaswamy (President), Mr. Venkat Sundaram (Secretary), Mr. Deepak Jain (Treasurer), Ms. Jyoti G Thatte and Mr. Santosh Subramoniam (Member Representatives), Ms. Sudha Shah and Mr. Vankina Chamundewshwarnath (BCCI Representatives), and Ms. Shubhangi Kulkarni (IPL Governing Council Representative). They shared valuable insights on ICA's vision, ongoing initiatives, and future plans aimed at enhancing the welfare and development of former cricketers across the country.
Members actively participated in the discussions, raising a wide range of topics, suggestions, and queries relating to welfare, engagement, and support initiatives. The ICA Board addressed these matters, provided guidance wherever possible, and noted valuable feedback for future consideration and action.
The event was jointly organised by ICA and the Hyderabad State Chapter representatives - Ms. Rekha Patel & Mr. Nandalal Rajesh Yadav, with invaluable support from local member and BCCI Representative Mr. Vankina Chamundeswaranath. The meeting concluded with insightful discussions, cherished memories, and a strong sense of camaraderie among members, reflecting the enduring spirit of the cricketing community.
