In the infamous Minesota starvation study, 36 mentally and physically healthy men voluntarily starved themselves so that researchers and relief workers could learn about how to help people recover from starvation.
The volunteers were eventually able to return to normal life, but some suffered from bingeing behavior for a long time and most gained weight after the study above their original levels, which took a year to go back to their individual normal.
This study suggests that the act of restriction and extreme dieting impacts an individual's physical, social, behavioral, and psychological well-being.
What’s caused by eating can be healed by eating and it can greatly improve your mental issues as well. That’s fundamental of my work: https://breakfree2thrive.com/

My favorite substitute back in recovery was chewing gums, taking a shower, changing the room, and walking around. Not to forget, cutting the veges! Eating is comforting, mouthing is comforting when you want to escape from emotions. You can comfort yourself in a harmless or potentially beneficial way. Use the power of substitute. Small changes will pay off! What is your favorite substitute?
