Mizoram State Sports Council (MSSC) Awards 2025
The prestigious Mizoram State Sports Council Awards 2025 were presented during the grand celebration of the MSSC Golden Jubilee at the R. Dengthuama Indoor Stadium, Mualpui, on 20th April, 2026.
We celebrate the outstanding individuals and organizations who have elevated Mizoram’s sporting landscape through excellence, dedication, and grit.
The Award Winners:
• Sportsman of the Year: C. Lalramsanga (Badminton)
• Sportswoman of the Year: Lalremsiami Hmar (Hockey)
• Best Performing Sports Association of the Year: All Mizoram Karate Association (AMKA)
• Lifetime Achievement Award: Lal Thanhawla
• Most Promising Sportsman of the Year: H. Lalthazuala (Badminton)
• Most Promising Sportswoman of the Year: Lalrempuii (Badminton)
• Sports Team of the Year: Mizoram Amateur Taekwondo Association (MATA) Team
• Coach of the Year: Lalinpuia (Taekwondo)
• Sports Promoter of the Year: Dr. Lalmuanpuia (L) (28.06.1977 – 25.01.2026)
• Sportsperson of the Year for Persons with Disabilities: David Lalremruata (Judo)
