Another milestone in coach development at VBF High Performance Centre with the successful completion of the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA) Level 1 Course, delivered across two back-to-back batches at our elite facility.

A total of 47 coaches from across the country participated in the course, coming together to learn, upskill and move a step ahead in their journey.

A special thanks to Ross Smith, the educator from ASCA, and all the coaches for their commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

The Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA) Level 1 Course is underway at VBF High Performance Centre, bringing coaches together for focused learning, education and upskilling.

Proud to host this initiative at our elite facility and contribute to building stronger coaching capabilities across the sporting ecosystem.

With two back-to-back batches planned, the second cohort commences on 26 August.

Shri Rahul Gupta, Secretary to Government, Sports, Youth & Cultural Activities Department, Government of Gujarat, visited VBF’s High-Performance Centre to witness our athlete development ecosystem.

The visit included interactions with athletes, coaches and the performance team, with discussions on Sports Science, Strength & Conditioning, and the DLSS (District Level Sports Scheme), and how it can create greater opportunities and stronger pathways for athletes.

The discussions focused on strengthening Gujarat’s sporting ecosystem and building pathways that can help Indian athletes reach their highest potential and contribute to India’s Olympic aspirations.
