זה לא סוף. זו רק ההתחלה של משהו גדול יותר.

Today we packed up the studio in the Tel Aviv apartment. Every machine, every wall, every class that happened here -into boxes.

This isn’t an ending. It’s just the beginning of something bigger.

I get asked all the time, “wait, what kind of Pilates do you teach?”

So I’m starting a series. Myth by myth. 🌶️

Not all Pilates is the same. There’s the original method, and there’s everything that came after it.

Classical Pilates is Joseph Pilates’ work, passed directly through Romana Kryzanowska. The difference is real, and yes, it exists here in Tel Aviv.

Guiding an instructor from their very first session all the way to certification, that’s the greatest privilege there is.

Every exam they pass, every correction they nail, every moment the body finally gets it, we’re there.

What makes our training truly special, instructors from around the world come to teach and learn together, because Romana’s Pilates is a global community.

ביום שישי בבוקר שכבר הייתי בווינה קיבלתי עדכון על המצב בישראל –
מלחמה נוספת שהתחילה בזמן שכבר יש לנו מלחמה ארוכה.
הילדים ואלעד היו בבית, ואני רחוקה.
זה לא פשוט, אבל זה חלק מהמציאות שלנו.
גם בתוך זה הכנס היה חם, מקצועי ותומך.
הרגשתי עטופה בחברים וקהילה שהציעו עזרה וחיבוק כשצריך.
Love all around. ❤️
הדרך חזרה הייתה קצת מורכבת –
שתי טיסות ושייט ביאכטה (באמת).
אבל הגעתי.
אני בבית.
ותודה גדולה למרג’ורי וג’ין
שידעו בדיוק איך לעזור כשצריך –
לחבק, לנגב דמעות, לחייך,
וכמובן – לגרום לי לעבוד קשה ולהזיע כמו תמיד ❤️

On Friday morning in Vienna, I got an update about the situation in Israel —
another round of fighting starting while we’re already in a long conflict.
My kids and Elad were at home, and I was far away.
It’s not easy, but it’s our reality.
Even so, the conference was warm, professional, and supportive.
I felt surrounded by friends and a community who offered real help and comfort.
Love all around. ❤️
The trip home was a bit complicated —
two flights and a yacht ride (yes, really).
But I made it.
I’m home.
A big thank you to Margorie and Jean
for knowing just how to help when needed —
for the hugs, the smiles, the wiped tears,
and of course for making me work hard and sweat as always ❤️

בחודש האחרון חגגתי יום הולדת – 45 (!)
וטסתי למקום שהכי רציתי לחגוג בו:

מהסטודיו – לכנס CPE בוינה שחיכיתי לו שנה שלמה.
לראות את ’spilatesinternetional Sari, ולפגוש שוב את אחת המורות הראשונות שליוו אותי מ־True Pilates NYC –
Pam Pedari – היו המתנות שרציתי לקבל 🫶

ועד כמה שהיה מוצלח להתנתק,
בבית בישראל הדברים נראו קצת אחרת.

בפוסט הבא – על המסע שעברתי בדרך הביתה.

In the past month I celebrated my birthday — 45 (!)
and chose to celebrate exactly where I most wanted to be: ❤️
From the studio, I continued to the CPE conference in Vienna — something I’d been waiting for all year.
Seeing Sari , and reconnecting with one of my very first teachers from True Pilates NYC,
Pam Pedari — these were the gifts I wanted for myself 🫶
As good as it was to disconnect for a moment, things at home in Israel looked a little different.
In the next post — about the journey I went through on my way home.
