בתחילת השבוע, לקראת אסיפת בעלי המניות של היורוליג שהתקיימה ב-25 באוגוסט, הגיש המועדון הצעת מסגרת ראשונית בנוגע לאפשרות לקבלת רישיון קבוע (פרנצ'ייז) ליורוליג.

המועדון נערך להגשת הצעה מחייבת כבר בימים הקרובים. הנהלת היורוליג הבהירה למועדון כי בכפוף להגשת הצעה זו ולקבלת תגובה חיובית מהדירקטוריון, יעבור המועדון לשלב השני בתהליך, לצד המועדונים הנוספים שהגישו השבוע הצעות מחייבות.

במקביל, המועדון מקיים תהליך בדיקת נאותות מקיף, שצפוי להימשך במהלך השבועות הקרובים, במטרה לגבש ולהגיש הצעה סופית לקראת ישיבת הדירקטוריון של היורוליג שתתקיים בחודש הבא. ההצעה הסופית נשענת על איתנות כלכלית משמעותית ועל חזון אסטרטגי ברור לעתיד המפעל.

התהליך מתנהל בשיתוף פעולה ובתיאום מלא עם הנהלת היורוליג. אנשי המועדון, ובראשם הבעלים מתן אדלסון, נמצאים בקשר רציף וישיר עם הנהלת היורוליג ועם מנכ״ל היורוליג, צ׳וס בואנו.

בניגוד לדיווחים האחרונים, הפועל ירושלים ממשיכה להיות מועמדת משמעותית לקבלת רישיון קבוע ליורוליג.

At the beginning of this week, ahead of the EuroLeague Shareholders Meeting held on August 25, the club submitted an initial framework proposal regarding the potential acquisition of a long-term EuroLeague franchise license.

The club is preparing to submit a binding proposal in the coming days. EuroLeague management has indicated to the club that, subject to the submission of this proposal and a positive response from the Board, the club will advance to the second phase of the process, alongside the other clubs that submitted binding proposals this week.

In parallel, the club is conducting a comprehensive due diligence process, which is expected to continue over the coming weeks, with the aim of developing and submitting a final proposal ahead of next month’s EuroLeague Board meeting. The final proposal will be built around significant financial strength and a clear strategic vision for the future of the
competition.

The process is being conducted in full cooperation and coordination with EuroLeague management. The club’s representatives, led by owner Matan Adelson, remain in continuous and direct dialogue with EuroLeague management and EuroLeague CEO Chus Bueno.

Contrary to recent reports, Hapoel Jerusalem remains firmly in contention for a long-term EuroLeague franchise license.
