Another FSM Strong Kids Camp in the books 💙🔥
And what a week it was.
At the end of every camp, we let the kids vote for their Camp MVP – Best Girl & Best Boy.
🏆 Ruby – Best Girl
🏆 Liam – Best Boy
Both were voted for by the other kids and received a copy of Way of the Warrior Kid — an amazing book and one we love giving to our kids every year.
Our coaches also choose an Overall Camp MVP.
This isn't about being the strongest, fastest or best athlete.
It's about the kid who supports others, encourages others, gets involved and helps make the camp better for everyone.
This year's Overall MVP went to Jody Kinsella 👏
An absolutely well-deserved award for the way he supported, encouraged and interacted with everyone throughout the camp.
But the biggest win?
Watching what ALL these kids achieved during the week.
🔥 Kids going from not being able to jump onto a box to hitting 22, 25 and even 30-inch box jumps.
🔥 First tumbles.
🔥 Hanging from a bar for over a minute.
🔥 Lifting weights they never thought they could lift.
🔥 Running their first mile.
🔥 Learning how to front squat and deadlift properly.
🔥 Building confidence and discovering what their bodies are capable of.
And that's only a small part of what happens during our FSM Strong Kids Camps.
Yes, we want kids to become stronger and fitter.
But we also want them leaving camp more confident, more capable and willing to try things they didn't think they could do.
Another brilliant summer of camps.
Huge well done to every single kid who walked through the doors and gave it a go. 💙
See you all again next year 👊
STRONG KIDS. STRONGER FUTURES.

Strength training and fitness does alot more for a child's brain 🧠 than you actually realise.

Turning upside down is a cool skill to have.
In our classes and camps we help kids develop all types of movement from strength, Bodyweight, gymnastics and their fitness in different ways.
Moving you body daily is key to health. But being able to do cool this with it too is even better.

Teen Camp #2 finishing up their 3rd week.
An absolute great bunch of teen to coach.

What’s possible in just four weeks?
At FSM, youth training isn’t simply about turning up, getting sweaty and going home.
Yes, we want our kids and teens to have fun.
Yes, we want them to enjoy training.
But we also want them to see that they’re getting better.
Over four weeks, we tracked strength, power and conditioning across multiple tests.
Some teens had trained with us before. Many were complete beginners.
The progress was clear:
Average back squat: 8.5 kg → 43.2 kg
Average power clean: 4.8 kg → 33.8 kg
Average 500 m row: 2:14 → 2:05
Average six-minute AMRAP: 94.7 reps → 109.8 reps
And those are only some of the tests we completed.
We understand that beginners often improve quickly during the introduction phase. But that is exactly the point.
When a young person can see what they’re capable of achieving in four weeks, they begin to believe in what could be possible over four months, one year, or longer.
Imagine the impact of adding two quality strength and conditioning sessions into a teenager’s week.
Imagine what three structured fitness sessions could do for a child who currently isn’t active.
This isn’t just about lifting more weight or moving faster.
It’s about building confidence, creating momentum and showing young people that their effort matters.
This is a small insight into how we coach, monitor and develop our youth athletes at FSM.
Fun matters. Progress matters. Showing young people what they’re capable of matters.
