Another couple of busy weekends for our u12s. We travelled west to play Valleymount last Saturday in the sunshine and then hosted Rathnew this morning in Laragh in very rainy conditions!

Two more brilliant games from our girls who keep showing us fantastic determination and teamwork and a never give up attitude!! They should be so proud of themselves💚💛💚💛

A fantastic performance from our U16 ladies on Thursday night against Carnew.

It was a brilliant team performance from start to finish, with every player playing their part and contributing to a great result. The girls showed fantastic teamwork, determination and effort throughout the match.

Well done to all the players, a performance to be very proud of!

Our U14s played Annacurra in the 1st round of their Championship last weekend.

The scoreline didn’t go our way on this occasion, but there was a lot of good points to take out of this game. The character these girls have has never been found wanting, they continue to battle against some of the best teams in the County, and never want to roll over when the odds are against them. This will stand to them in the next few games in the Championship, where they will meet tough competition in Newtown & St Nick’s over the next two Sundays. The girls have prepared well, and have trained extremely hard over the last 7 months, everyone is behind you all the way, we are very proud of this very talented team, and what you all have achieved. We need a big push from our supporters to let the players know we are in the battle with them, and by their side when the going gets tough.

Congratulations to our three girls, Lauren, Lily and Ella, proudly representing both their club and county today at the Leinster U15 PDP Blitz.

They played some superb football against Kilkenny, Kildare and Offaly doing themselves and their clubs incredibly proud.

A great start to the championship for our U16 ladies, taking on Bray in the opening round. The girls put in a fantastic performance, with a particularly strong second half where they worked tirelessly for each other and gave it their all. Their hard work and determination paid off as they came away with a well deserved win.

A special mention and huge thanks to our U14 girls who stepped up and helped out when needed.

This weekend sees our Adult Ladies contest the final group games of the Junior A and Junior B championships. With quarter final spots up for grabs, these games promise to have it all. The support at games this year has been immense, let’s keep it going and drive the Ladies on💚💛💚💛

This is a fabulous free workshop ran by HerSport. The aim of the workshop is to get girls together aged 16-25 to discuss any barriers that they might face keeping them playing sport.
