⭐️SHEEP STOCK JUDGING COUNTY ROUND⭐️

The Wexford County Round of the Sheep Stock Judging Competition will take place on:

Two competitors will qualify to represent Wexford at the National Final, with one place available in each category:

• Under 23
• Over 23

We encourage everyone to come along and support the competition as we look forward to seeing Wexford represented at the National Finals.

⭐️WEXFORD MACRA - LOBBYING NIGHT 1⭐️
Last Thursday night four Wexford Macra members met up with Senator Cathal Bynre for lobbying. The Wexford Macra crew wanted to discuss with him about Macra na Feirme’s 2027 Pre-Budget Submission. Clíona, Sarah, Sean and Lucy discussed many topics with Cathal. Some of these included - supports for young farmers and rural youth around housing, finance, rural infrastructure, and health. We also said we wanted to support the young farmers in the next CAP & support generational renewal.
Wexford Macra would like to thank Senator Cathal Bynre for taking the time out for meeting up with us and discussing what we think is important for the farming industry.

⭐️COUNTY ROUND OF KNOW YOUR AG⭐️
We held our County Round of “Know Your Ag” last night in Buffers Alley Complex.
The gang all had a great night answering the questions and had the odd giggle of course too! Thanks to everyone who attended the night.
The two teams going through to the Know Your Ag Finals are Bree & Kilmuckridge Macra. The finals will take place at the Macra Rally in Limerick on the October Bank Holiday.
Also a big thank you to the correctors, the barman Paul, Paul Doran the quiz master and Tom along with K.A.F. for organising.

⭐️SEPTEMBER MEETING⭐️
Lots going on in the month of September.
Also plenty of planning and ideas welcomed so make sure you come and hear what’s going on in each club and what’s going on in the county.

We are back with the September calendar and what another jam packed month we have. We are busy with Club, County and National events. We are lucky to say we wouldn’t have it any other way.
If any other Macra Clubs/Counties have anything coming up please let us know and we can stick it in the October calendar 📅
