A massive thank you to everyone who came down to the club for the opening ceremony of Joe McGovern Park and stayed on to support the lads in our pre-season match. It was fantastic to see such a great crowd there for a very special evening in the club’s history.

A quick update ahead of tomorrow’s celebrations at Joe McGovern Park.

The Opening Ceremony will go ahead as planned at 5PM, with our Senior Men’s pre-season challenge match against Tuam RFC now kicking off at 6:30PM.

🔥🏉Connacht U17s Blitz 🔥🏉

Ollie Isherwood togged out for Connacht U17’s in the interprovincial blitz in Mullingar yesterday.

First game was against Munster where he scored lovely try from the halfway beating 5 defenders.

Ollie captained Connacht for the game against Leinster schools where he had a great game with plenty of line breaks and defended very well.

Unfortunately they didn’t get a win but they all learned a lot.
