🏃‍♀️ Another busy weekend for Watergrasshill AC! 🏃‍♂️

Our runners were out in force this weekend, taking on races around the country — and some fairly wild weather along the way! 🌧️💪

At the Oylegate Half Marathon & 10K, John put in a brilliant performance to finish 2nd in the Half Marathon, while Dolores had a fantastic run to take 1st place in her age category for the 10 km. Even more impressive considering they battled through the lashing rain! 🥈🥇👏

Elsewhere, Lisa took on the Longford Marathon, covering the full 26.2 miles — a huge achievement. 💪🏅

And there was a strong Watergrasshill contingent at the Mooreabbey 10 Miler, with Gwen, Donal, Cathy, Denis taking on the 10 miler Paul and Linda taking on the 10 km, with Paul coming in second place !👏

Well done to everyone who raced and represented the club over the weekend. Some brilliant running all round!

A brilliant showing from WGH AC at yesterday’s Cork City 10K, with Aileen, Dave, Lisa, Dolores, John, Sheena, Denis, Catherine, Kieran, Rachel and Gobnait all showing up for a great morning of running.

There were some fantastic performances across the board, with plenty of orange on display throughout the field! 🧡

A special mention goes to Lisa, Aileen and Catherine, who capped off superb runs by winning prizes in their respective age categories! 🏆👏 A fantastic achievement and great to see the club so well represented among the prize winners.

Well done to all of our runners — some great racing, great smiles and another proud day for the club! 👏

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Sunday of the Bank Holiday weekend saw John, Dolores & Bryan make the trip to the Kingdom of Kerry for the Banna 10km Road Race. 💚💛

With a fabulously flat course, stunning coastal scenery and great running conditions, it was the perfect way to spend a Sunday morning. 🌊☀️

A fantastic run by all three, with plenty of smiles from start to finish. Well done John, Dolores & Bryan on flying the club colours in Kerry! 👏🧡🧡🧡
