A small selection of my Fields Collection are now available to buy in Lough Gill Brewhall in Cleveragh, Co. Sligo.

While you're there, why take a tour of the brewery and learn how James and the team make the beer? It's worth the trip.

As it's been 10 years since I finished my training on the Design & Crafts Council Ireland Pottery Skills Course and gotten lots of new followers (Hello! 👋🏻), I thought I'd write a diary entry about what I've been doing over that time.

You can find the link on my home page.

It's been 10 years this month since I finished my training on the DCCI Pottery Skills Course in Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny. It really doesn't feel like that long!

We learned so much and did so much in those two years - from preparing clay, throwing, turning, making slips and glazes right through to firing kilns and mopping the floors.

It was tough going at times but gave me the best foundation to becoming a studio potter, paving the way for future prospects.

It's a bit strange looking back at the photos of my old work. My pots have changed a lot over that time but I can still see a like resemblance to the pieces I make now.

Thank you to everyone who dropped in to say hello to me and my Pottery Pop Up Shop for Boyle Arts Festival. It was great meeting you all and it was a success in so many ways. I already have plans for next year.

A big THANK YOU to Christine at Studio Eleven for offering me her shop. It's a lovely space.

(And if anyone in the area wants to try yoga, I highly recommend the classes there.)

Three little posy vases, for one or two flowers; a simple and quick way to a pop of colour and cheer to your home.

They make lovely small presents too, to say thank you or show someone you are thinking of them in a difficult time. Great gifts don't have to cost the earth.

And they're very cute! if I do say so myself.

A whistlestop tour of my Pop Up Shop here in Studio Eleven for .

Tomorrow is my final day and it's been great. I've enjoyed chatting with visitors and hearing people's comments.

I'll be here from 10am to 5pm. Please pop in if you're about.

Aren't the pink hydrangea gorgeous?!

I love when customers send me photos of their pots in their homes and being used, and kind words too.
