Our U14 Division 1 team have secured their place in the Championship Shield Final with a brilliant Semi Final victory over Killygarry this morning 🙌🏻

The girls gave an outstanding performance to claim the win! The work rate of every single player was unreal and this win was throughly deserved!

And once again, the support club was out, with plenty of Lurgan voices cheering them on throughout the game!! A massive thank you to everyone who came out to support! Your encouragement means so much to the girls 💪🏻

💚🤍 DIV 6 CHAMPIONSHIP FINALISTS 🤍💚

What a performance from our U14 Division 6 girls this afternoon as they secured their place in the Championship Cup Final with a fantastic victory over Kildallan! 👏🏻

The girls have worked incredibly hard throughout the season and today they showed just what they’re capable of, putting in a brilliant team performance from start to finish. The girls had massive support on the sidelines to drive them on to claim the win 🔥

💚🤍 WEEKEND OF SEMI-FINALS 🤍💚

It’s a huge weekend ahead for Lurgan Ladies as our U14 Division 6 girls, Junior Ladies and U14 Division 1 girls all take to the field for their respective semi-finals 🙌🏻

First up are our U14 Division 6 girls, who take on Kildallan in the Cup Semi-Final. The girls have played some fantastic football throughout the competition, producing some phenomenal performances to secure their place in the knockout stages. They’ll be hoping to continue that form on Saturday 💪🏻

Then, on Sunday morning, our Junior Ladies take on Ballyhaise as they look to book their place in the Junior B Final once again. These two teams know each other well, so we’re expecting another cracking contest! The girls will be looking to carry the momentum from their Quarter-Final victory into Sunday’s game and give it everything to secure a place in the final. To round off a massive weekend, our U14 Division 1 girls face Killygarry in the Shield Semi-Final. The girls have worked incredibly hard throughout the season and have played some brilliant football along the way. They’ll be determined to put in another strong performance and give themselves every chance of securing their place in the final 💪🏻

🌟 FINGALLIAN’S FESTIVAL OF FOOTBALL🌟

What a fantastic day for our U10 girls, who travelled to Swords on 5th September to take part in the Fingallians Festival of Football!

It was a brilliant event, bringing together teams from all over Ireland and our girls put in some fantastic performances throughout the day. Most importantly, there were plenty of smiles and loads of fun was had! We are incredibly proud of how they represented Lurgan Ladies while wearing the club jersey with such pride 👏🏻

A huge well done to all the girls for their effort & their coaches for their organisation and bringing the team. A big thank you to the organisers at Fingallians Gaa for hosting such a fantastic event 🙌🏻

🏆 CELBRIDGE BLITZ CHAMPIONS 🏆

At the end of August, our fantastic U11 girls were invited to compete at the Celbridge Festival of Football in Kildare 💚🤍

The girls put on a brilliant display of football throughout the day, showing great skill, determination and teamwork as they took on some very tough opposition from clubs all across Ireland.

The girls came home UNBEATEN which is a fantastic achievement and one that they should be incredibly proud of. Huge credit to every player for their effort and commitment and a big thank you to the coaches, parents and supporters who helped make the day so special.

💚🤍 LURGAN U8S 🤍💚

A huge well done to our older U8 girls who were invited to St Ultans Ladies GFC to take part in their fantastic Festival of Football yesterday.

Both of our Lurgan teams played 5 matches against teams from all over Meath and what a day it was! The girls were brilliant ambassadors for Lurgan Ladies, showing great determination, teamwork and skill throughout every game, and had plenty of fun along the way 🙌🏻

You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves girls! Wear those medals with extreme pride, you’ve certainly earned them! 💚🤍 A huge thank you to St. Ultan’s for having us, it was a brilliant day!

A special thank you to all the parents for giving up their Sunday and supporting the girls. Your continued support means so much. The coaches are extremely proud of every single player. What a fantastic group!! Well done girls! 💪🏻

The girls lead right from the beginning and put in a fantastic performance from start to finish to book their place in the Semi-Final! 💪🏻

💚🤍 SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP FINALISTS 🤍💚

After a tough week for this group of girls, our Senior Ladies have once again booked their place in the Imperial Bar Senior Championship Final after a very very hard-fought battle against Crosserlough this evening!

It was a tense and hugely competitive contest from start to finish, with very little separating the sides as the game went right down to the wire, until up stepped our captain, Aoife Brady, to kick the winning score with 10 seconds of normal time to go!!! Each and every one one of our girls showed incredible determination, composure and heart for the full game to get over the line, but there was definitely someone very special watching over the team tonight ❤️

A massive congratulations to the players and management on a brilliant performance and a well-deserved win. Commiserations to Crosserlough LGFA after a phenomenal game of football!
