Very well done to all of our students who received component awards at Levels 2,3 and 4 on the night also. CMRF Crumlin
'Christmas Jumper Day'
Well done to all of our students who participated in the CMRF Christmas Jumper Appeal here in the centre. €50 was raised by students through sponsorship to make their own personalized Christmas jumper.
Donations will go to our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin and the National Children’s Research Centre. Day after day their staff do whatever it takes to deliver extraordinary care, transformative treatment, early diagnosis, cutting-edge technology, support and hope to Ireland’s sickest children and their families.

Irish National Stud Visit and RACE Academy
Students were very kindly facilitated at the RACE Academy yesterday and Irish National Stud. The RACE academy is of particular interest to our students who want to progress on to a career in the horse racing industry. During the site visit students got to sample some of the supports on offer to students and to check out the campus for themselves. The tour included a trial of the horse racing simulator and a visit to the stable yards. The tour of the National Stud was very informative and despite the rain students enjoyed a picnic and a tour on the day.

Competition Winners-Well done
Trim Youthreach students are the very proud winners of the 'Anti Racism Creative Competition 2018 ' Youthreach Category this week. This competition which is an initiative of Show Racism the Red Card is aimed at promoting education against racism and harnessing the profile of sports stars to convey the anti-racism message. Students worked tirelessly over the past few months to develop a spectacular pix-elated art installation which was exhibited on all of the public windows in the centre to maximize exposure of the message 'Show Racism the Red Card'. Well done to all students for taking part both here and nationally.

Botanic Gardens Site visit - Agenda 21
Staff and students had a great day visiting the Botanic Gardens in Glasneven this week. Students were facilitated by Ciara who guided them through the various themed gardens and conservatories. Students were particularly interested in the organic garden and the huge variety of exotic plant displays. They also got a chance to plant down some seeds themselves in handmade pots in a practical skills session.
This trip forms part of the 'Green Teens' Initiative that the Centre is engaged in under Agenda 21 which is part funded by Meath County Council.
