Formed in 1820, "The Tipps" are one of Ireland's oldest and most prestigious packs of foxhounds. The Tipperary Foxhounds, known locally as "The Tipps".
Throughout the hunting season, which runs from the start of November to the end of February each year, the hunt meets every Wednesday and Saturday at 11am. Visitors are always welcome and if you are interested in joining us for a day of sport in some of Ireland's best hunting country, please send us a message here. What a lovely evening we had yesterday for our hound exercise on bikes! 🚴🐶
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us. We were delighted to have a field of 23 out, making for a fantastic evening with the hounds.
It was especially encouraging to see so many of our young local neighbours to the kennels taking part. Building strong links with our local community is something we really value, and it is wonderful to see local families and young people getting involved, meeting the hounds, and becoming part of our evenings at the kennels.
A special mention must go to our two youngest followers, Ailbe Croke (6) and Charlie Shorten (5), who stayed with us for the full five miles. A brilliant effort from both lads — fair play to them! 👏
Thank you again to everyone who came along and helped make it such an enjoyable evening. We look forward to seeing you all again at the next hound exercise.

The Tipperary Foxhounds are hosting a Hound Exercise Evening on Bicycles, and everyone is welcome to come along!

Bring your bicycle and helmet and enjoy a relaxed evening in the countryside as the hounds get their exercise. It’s a great way to enjoy the fresh air, meet new people, and see the hounds in action in a safe, family-friendly environment.
Whether you’re a local, interested in the countryside, or simply looking for a fun outdoor activity, we’d love to see you there.

Now that the dust has settled after what has been a busy few weeks of social outings, we’d like to take the opportunity to extend a very warm welcome to our three new Masters as they officially join the fold.
Congratulations to Jamie Heffernan, Paul O’Dwyer and Aidan Fogarty.
The Tipperary Foxhounds have a proud tradition of dedicated and hardworking Masters, and we’re delighted to see that tradition continue. Their enthusiasm and commitment have been evident from the outset, and it’s clear they’ve already hit the ground running with the work they’ve put in ahead of the new season.
We wish Jamie, Paul and Aidan every success for the season ahead and look forward to working alongside them as we prepare for another great year with the Tipperary Foxhounds.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported our social events over the past few weeks – from the kayaking and the Hunt BBQ to our Puppy Show. It’s been a brilliant few weeks socially and a great chance for everyone to catch up, have a laugh, and enjoy each other’s company.
We’d love to keep it going, so we’re hoping to organise a few more social outings and activities over the coming weeks to keep bringing everyone together.
Most importantly, thank you all for your continued support of Tipperary Foxhounds. It’s so important to make time for friends, enjoy ourselves, and have a bit of fun alongside everything else. We’ve a great community, and it’s the people who make it so special.

🐶🌿 Tipperary Foxhounds Puppy Show – This Saturday! 🌿🐶
The countdown is on! We look forward to welcoming everyone to the Tipperary Foxhounds Puppy Show this Saturday at 6:00pm.
Come along to meet this year’s young entry, enjoy a lovely evening in the countryside, and catch up with friends old and new. It’s always a great occasion, and everyone is very welcome.
🍰 If you’re able to, we’d really appreciate if you could bring along a few homemade cakes, buns or other sweet treats to enjoy with a cup of tea. Every contribution, big or small, is greatly appreciated.
We hope to see a great crowd on the evening and look forward to sharing another special Puppy Show with you all. 🦊🐾

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported the Tipperary Foxhounds BBQ at the Kennels last night.
What a fantastic evening it was! The sunshine certainly played its part, creating the perfect setting for a brilliant night of good food, great company, plenty of laughs, and a wonderful community atmosphere. It was fantastic to see so many familiar and new faces enjoying themselves.
Your support means so much to us and helps ensure we can continue to develop our kennels and support the work of the hunt. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who attended, bought tickets, donated, helped organise the event, volunteered behind the scenes, and to all who contributed in any way to making the evening such a success.
Thank you all once again—we’re already looking forward to seeing you at our next event!

Work is well underway for our hunt BBQ this Saturday at the kennels, with the weather set to be a scorcher it’s sure to be a fantastic evening of fun and games! Anyone requesting some last minute tickets please contact Aisling Fitzell.
