✨️Happy Retirement Bridget✨️

On behalf of Killenaule GAA, tonight we presented Bridget with a small token of our gratitude for her long-standing commitment to selling Lotto tickets for the club in Hassett’s Shop.

Last week, Bridget closed the door to Hassett’s, bringing an end to the era of chatting with Bridget in the shop — the friendly smile, the over-generous handful of sweets, and, of course, the extra-high Hassetts Special 99.

All at Killenaule GAA are hugely grateful to Bridget for the many years of selling Lotto tickets and supporting the club.

We wish Bridget the very best of luck, happiness and plenty of relaxation in her retirement.

A fantastic team effort saw the Junior B footballers secure their place in the semi-final!

Our Minor hurlers are out of the Championship following a 2-17 to 1-17 defeat to Slievenamon Gaels earlier this week.

With only 14 players available, our lads showed incredible guts, pride, passion and character against a full-strength 15-man team.

✨️u10s welcome Graigue Ballycallan✨️

Our U10s welcomed Graigue Ballycallan for a challenge match last night, and there wasn’t an inch given!!

It was like the old Tipp v Kilkenny battles, with an All-Ireland on the line! The competitiveness, determination and effort from both teams was fantastic to see.

A great evening of hurling, with plenty of skills and hard work on display from all the boys and girls!

Well done to everyone who took part, and a big thank you to Graigue Ballycallan GAA for a brilliant challenge match!

✨️Tipperary All Ireland Camogie Jubilee Team 2001✨️

We were delighted to see our own Paula Bulfin honoured at yesterday’s All-Ireland Camogie Final alongside her 2001 Tipperary All-Ireland-winning teammates.

The 2001 victory completed a remarkable three-in-a-row of All-Ireland titles, cementing their place in camogie history. The team produced a clinical and dominant performance to overcome Kilkenny on a scoreline of 4-13 to 1-06.

Paula is now one of our U12 mentors, and we are incredibly fortunate and honoured to have her on the sidelines, sharing her wealth of experience, knowledge and passion for the game!

A fantastic morning of skill, teamwork and fun as we welcomed teams from Templemore Ladies Football Club , Solohead GAA , Ballyduff Lower GAA, LGFA & Camogie Cappa Lfc Ardfinnan Ladies Football Club , St Odhran’s Silvermines Oola GAA/LGFA

A huge thank you to our coaches for all the hard work and preparation that went into hosting such a big blitz, and to all the teams and parents who travelled and gave up their Saturday morning to support the girls.
