The finals of the Doubles Showdown competition took place on a glorious day at the end of July. Winners of Group 3 -Áine & Laura. Runners Up - Grace & Liz. Winners of Group 2- Mattie & Pat. Runners Up Margaret & Triona G. Winners of Group 1- Eddie & Zane. Runners Up Triona D & Réidín. Most improved player award went to Pat Treacy. Well done to all who took part and special thanks to Johnny for scheduling the event and acting as head chef on the evening!🍔. Lots to look forward to in the coming months including Social tennis, mixed doubles tennis competition, junior and adult Padel tournaments🎾

The finals of our inaugural Padel competition took place on Friday 19th June. Congratulations Jim Grace & Phil Wheatley winners of the Padel cup. Runners up Réidín & Dean Fanning. Winners of the Shield competition were Michelle O’Meara & Gavin Aherne. Runners up Dave McKevitt & Tom King. Thanks to all who participated, to Johnny for all the match scheduling, to Orla for organising the food and to Naoise for her lovely treats. We hope to run another Padel tournament in the near future!

What a beautiful day yesterday for Thurles Tennis Club’s annual John McNally Memorial Golf Classic! Congrats to our winners. 1st place Premier Formwork Ltd team consisting of Micheal Bryan, PJ Mooney, Stephen Ryan and Gerard Ryan. 2nd place Mossie Danaher, Andy McMahon, Kieran Griffin and Eamon Ryan (Adare Manor team). 3rd place The Kennedys, Ted, Seamus, Darragh and Paul. 4th place Pat Lineen, Ray McLoughney, Sinead Butler and Jack Lineen. Well done to all the teams who participated and of course a huge thanks to all our loyal sponsors. Your support is greatly appreciated.
