🏀 PLAYER ANNOUNCEMENT 🏀

Tipp Talons Basketball Club is delighted to announce the signing of Xabi Arriaga for the 2026–2027 Men's National League Division 1 season.

Originally from Bilbao, Spain, Xabi brings a wealth of experience to the Talons, having developed through the youth systems at Getxo before spending two seasons with the prestigious Estudiantes academy in Madrid. He later competed in Spain's LEB Plata with Zamora before making the move to Ireland in 2019.

Since arriving in Ireland, Xabi has represented Griffith College Templeogue, where he won the Pat Duffy National Cup in 2020, as well as Neptune Basketball Club in Cork. Most recently, he competed in the National League with Portlaoise Panthers, bringing leadership, experience and professionalism to the squad.

Known for his versatility, basketball IQ and team-first mentality, Xabi adds valuable experience and a winning pedigree to the Talons roster as the club prepares for the 2026–2027 Division 1 campaign.

His experience across Spain and Ireland, combined with his passion for the game and commitment to team success, make Xabi an exciting addition as Tipp Talons continue to build towards a successful National League season.

We are delighted to have Xabi join the Talons family.

Tipp Talons Basketball Club is delighted to announce the signing of Isaac Temiola for the 2026–2027 Men's National League Division 1 season.

A talented British forward standing at 6'6", Isaac brings athleticism, versatility, and a relentless competitive spirit to the Talons roster. Having represented clubs including Greenwich Titans and London Lions, he has built a reputation as a dominant presence on both ends of the floor, combining impressive scoring ability with strong rebounding and defensive intensity.

Throughout his career, Isaac has consistently showcased his talent, leadership, and commitment to excellence. His work ethic and determination have established him as one of the most exciting young prospects in British basketball.

As Tipp Talons prepare for the upcoming National League Division 1 campaign, Isaac's arrival adds another dimension to the squad, and everyone at the club is excited to welcome him to Tipperary.

I'm really excited to be taking on the role of Chairperson and I'm looking forward to working with you all to help our club continue to grow and thrive.

I'd also like to say a huge thank you to Lorraine our outgoing Chairperson for her incredible dedication over the past 9 years.

The time, effort, and commitment she has given to the club have helped make it what it is today, and we're all very grateful for everything she's done.

I'm excited for what lies ahead and can't wait to work with everyone. 🦅🦅🦅
