Congratulations to the Irish team winning the Plate Competition at the World Series in Farnham Park, down 8 runs in the bottom of the last inning Ireland came back to beat England for the 2nd time on Sunday

Cubs finish their league season at home to the Brawlers. First pitch 7pm

The school gates will be open up to first pitch, there's ample parking on site

The last game of the season saw a fantastic batting performance from the Dynamoes as they defeated the Bearcats 33-19 in Castleknock College. Highlights included home runs from Aideen, Gary, Niall and Victor.

Despite the defeat the Bearcats spirits were not to be dampened as they celebrate the end of the league season and their first ever Premier Division title, congratulation to the Bearcats and good luck in SINCC

The last week of the regular softball season starts Tuesday night with the Dynamoes travelling to meet the Bearcats Castleknock College and then Wednesday night the Dynamites go to Ashbourne to face the Antlers

There will be a solar eclipse tomorrow with 94% coverage, and the maximum darkness around 19:10… and first contact 18:12, last contact 20:05. Which is of course exactly during the start of the Antlers-Dynamites game. Considering that we are at the end of the season and starting to lose light early anyway, in order to avoid an unfinished game tomorrow, we will have to postpone the game by a week.
