What an unforgettable finish to the inaugural FIBA Masters Open.

🥇 F40 Women – FIBA Masters Champions!
An incredible Gold Medal performance saw our F40s crowned champions after a fantastic victory over Italy. A truly historic achievement!

🥈 F45 Women – Silver Medallists
🥈 F50 Women – Silver Medallists
🥈 M45 Men – Silver Medallists

Three outstanding silver medal performances that showcased the talent, determination and resilience of Irish Masters basketball on the international stage.

A huge well done also to our M50 and M60 teams, who battled all the way to 4th place finishes. While the medals just slipped away today, your commitment, fight and pride in the Irish jersey never wavered.

To every player, coach, manager, physio, volunteer, official, supporter and family member, thank you! This tournament has been built on months of dedication, sacrifice and teamwork, and every single person played a part.

You have inspired us all and written a remarkable new chapter in Basketball Ireland Masters history.

What a day for Ireland yesterday...

Huge congratulations to our F45 and M45 teams, who both delivered outstanding performances to claim silver medals after two thrilling Gold Medal Finals.

While the ultimate prize narrowly escaped them, both teams represented Ireland with incredible skill, determination and heart. Every player, coach, manager and supporter should be immensely proud of what they've achieved.

From everyone at Basketball Ireland Masters and back home in Ireland congratulations on a fantastic tournament.

And the journey isn't over yet...

Today, all eyes turn to our F40s and F50s teams as they take to the court in their own Gold Medal Finals. Let's get behind them as they chase more history for Ireland!
