Our Senior Ladies have secured their Intermediate status after an absolute battle in today’s relegation play-off! 🙌🔥

What a performance from this group! Every single player gave it everything, battled right to the very end and dug deep when it mattered most to come away with a massive two-point victory. 💪❤️🖤
A special shout-out has to go to Shauna Maloney, who scored the winning goal on her Senior debut! 🤩🔥 Talk about making an entrance, what a moment and what a debut! 👏👏
Well done to our four U16s who made the step up this year. The senior team is so appreciative of you 🥺🔥
A huge thank you to Micheal, Justin, Brian and Trish for everything they have done for the team throughout the year. Your time, commitment and hard work behind the scenes is hugely appreciated. ❤️🖤

What an evening of football for our Swinford Killasser U13 girls, with both teams battling through tough, wet and windy conditions! 🌧️💨🏐
Our U13A girls had a fantastic 5-11 to 1-9 victory over Tourmakeady in the Division 2 Cup Semi-Final. Playing with the wind in the first half, the girls built up an impressive 19-point lead at half-time.
The second half brought a completely different challenge playing into the wind, but the girls worked incredibly hard. Some great tactical play, sweeping, back-pressing and teamwork helped them see out a brilliant win. 👏💪
🏆Our U13A girls will now face Castlebar Mitchels on September 26th, with full details to be confirmed. ❤️🖤
Our U13B girls gave everything against Eastern Gaels in their Division 5 Shield Semi-Final. Unfortunately, it wasn't our day, with Eastern Gaels winning 6-5 to 2-8.
The girls worked brilliantly together and fought and battled right through the second half. Their teamwork and skills have improved so much as the weeks have gone on, and most importantly, they continue to bring a brilliant attitude and enjoy their football. ❤️👏
A big thank you to our U11 girls and their coaches who came along to support the B team this evening, it was greatly appreciated! 🥰🖤❤️

Hard luck to our Senior team who lost out to McHale Rovers this evening in Round 3 of the Intermediate Championship.
The girls battled hard and gave it everything, but unfortunately it wasn’t to be on the night. ❤️🖤
Congratulations to McHale Rovers on the win and we wish them the very best of luck in the Cup Semi-Final. 👏🍀
Our Championship journey continues, with the girls now facing a relegation game next weekend. Another big performance will be needed, and we know the girls will give it everything to retain our Intermediate status. 💪🏐

A lovely game this evening for our U13 B team, with some great performances from both sides. Well done to the girls from Ballyhaunis GAA & LGFA Club.
Our girls showed great determination with a real fightback towards the end, but Ballyhaunis held on for the win.

Swinford Killasser LGFA are delighted to launch our 16-week Player Development Programme, designed to help our young players become fitter, stronger and more athletic, while preparing them for the demands of the modern LGFA game. 💪🏐
The programme will be led by Michelle Filan, our Club Coaching Officer, who brings extensive experience and knowledge of the LGFA game alongside her background as a coach and private gym owner.
📅 Information Evening: Friday 18th September
⏰ 8.00pm
📍 Amenity
We strongly encourage all U14, U16 & Minor players and their parents to attend. Michelle will explain how the 16-week programme will work and answer any questions on the night.
💶 There will be a minimal cost to players, with Swinford Killasser LGFA subsidising the remainder of the programme as part of our commitment to developing our young players.
☕ Light refreshments will be provided.
