A huge Congratulations to our Sneem Ladies who took part today in the Ladies Seine Boat race in Caherciveen and came in first place 🥇
The powerful Ladies from Sneem, lead from start to finish in a 9 Boat race. Congratulations to their cox Damien Fitzgerald, he did a great job.
This fundraising event is to raise funds for Skellig Stars and Group 135 Kerry and Rise and Shine.

How lucky are we to have this gang in our corner.
Paul Breen, Mike O Shea, Sean Murphy, Caroline Clifford, Shane O Sullivan and Damien Fitzgerald.
They devote endless hours to the club training from U14s up to Master level. They all work so hard all year, with winter training then many hours up and down the river.
Paul has secured a first overall with his Minor Boys in South and Mid Kerry Rowing.
But we want to give a special mention and appreciation to Cox and Trainer Sean Murphy.
He secured a first overall in South/Mid Kerry with his Senior Men again this year. They have been unbeaten now in every race for 3 years in a row, it's a fantastic record to hold.
Sean was also the main cox for us in the All Irelands in Bantry this year, bringing home 13 medals out of our overall 17. He spent hours on end on the water and on Saturday for 8 races he had to jump from heritage boat straight into the Celtic Yawl boat and back again on repeat.
We are very thankful for his dedication to the club.

A huge thank you also goes to Darren Casey, our composite cox, who secured 2 medals with the U18 and U21 Boys. Thanks so much for stepping in Darren.

We would like to give a big shoutout and thank you to Sean in Dan Murphys Bar and John in The Hungry Knight - Sneem who have sponsored the food we had for our homecoming. We are so grateful and appreciate the gesture. Thanks Sean also for arranging the music, a great night was had by all.
