MASTERS CUP CHAMPIONS 2026
Roscommon United 3-0 Boyle Celtic
The teams most comprehensive performance of the season was saved for the final game, as Roscommon United lifted the Masters Cup in Lecarrow last night. Roscommon raced into a 2-0 halftime head, with Carlos Araujo and Markim finding the net in a resolute first half performance. Carlos was dismissed early in the second half, but that did not break the teams resolve, as Dannis Da Cruz completed the scoring in the closing stages. Much less stressful than a shootout!

Huge congratulations to the group, who re-focused on this competition like never before once the league was out of reach. UNITED

Castlerea Celtic 1- 3 Roscommon United FC
Victory in Castlerea brings the curtain down on the Masters League season. United conceded the first goal early on despite some bright early play. Aigars Berzins equalised soon after the break with a mazy run and early finish. Halfway through the second half Richard Hazell rose highest from a cross to fire past the goalkeeper, and Kevin Concannon broke out for the third goal with about 5 minutes left.

Roscommon United conclude their league campaign away to Castlerea Celtic tonight with a 7.30pm kick off. Good luck to players and management tonight.

Roscommon United 2 Killeigh FC 3
The first run out of the summer ended in a narrow defeat in Lecarrow on Wednesday evneing. United took the lead in the game, Tia Cronin latching on to a Sarah McSherry pass and finishing well. A fine pass form Sarah who was making her debut for the club along with Mary Egan. Killeigh responded with two goals, but Hevelly Rabelo levelled the game, with Maria Tiernan assisting that finish. Killeigh found another gear and got the winner in the closing stages, but still a lot of positives to take from proceedings.
