One of the longest‑serving members of the Club Rossie Business Members Program is Gold Member JF Hanley Groundcare, who have supported us since the very beginning.

We recently caught up with company owners Patrick and John F. Hanley at their busy and impressive premises in Ballydooley, Donamon.

JF Hanley Groundcare operates two strong lines of business — Commercial Fencing and Lawn & Farm Machinery — and stands as another excellent example of a Roscommon‑based company serving customers nationwide.

A lovely moment at the opening of the GAA Memorial Garden in Fairymount, where John Lavin proudly brought along his late father’s 1951 All‑Ireland minor medal. Western Gaels man John Lavin Snr was part of the Roscommon panel that claimed the All‑Ireland title that year after defeating Armagh in the final.

The memorial garden was recently opened by Cathaoirleach of Roscommon Gaa Thomas Murray.
