Our services include Meals on Wheels and an Active Age Day Centre, with door-to-door minibus transport for clients.
This project is supported by the Department of Rural and Community Development and Pobal under the Community Services Programme. The service offers:

The Day Care Activities include Painting Classes, Arts & Crafts, Creative Writing and Woodturning Workshops. Meals are available at the Centre from Monday to Fri

🌟 A Wonderful Day Out! 🌟
During the week, we enjoyed a fantastic trip to Strokestown Park House and National Famine Museum. We were welcomed with delicious treats on arrival before enjoying a fascinating tour of both the Famine Museum and the beautiful Strokestown House.
To round off the day, we enjoyed a lovely meal together in the Percy French Hotel. It was a day filled with laughter, great company, and wonderful memories that will stay with us for a long time.

While the Mo Chairde Centre is closed this week for our annual leave, there’s still plenty happening around Keadue!
The O’Carolan Harp Festival & Summer School is in full swing, with a fantastic programme of music, culture, and community events taking place throughout the Bank Holiday weekend.
A few highlights include:
☕ Festival Café – Open all week and throughout the weekend in St. Ronan’s Hall
🎉 Family Fun Run – Friday 31st at 7.00pm, starting from St. Ronan’s Hall
🎈 Family Fun Day – Saturday 1st at Keadue Sportsfield
