Badminton Ireland is delighted to announce the running of an Adult Teicnic Camp in Roscommon. One of only 3 such camps taking place in Ireland this summer! The camp will take place in Mercy Convent, Roscommon F42 VK66.

Wednesday 19th & Thursday 20th of August, 7pm - 10pm.

The camp is designed to work on skills and drills, with the main focus on improving player's abilities and confidence over the two day camp.

*All levels welcome*
This is an Adult only Teicnic Camp, targeted at players over 18 years of age. Sessions will be run by BWF qualified coaches.

Cost of camp: €35 for 2 consecutive days
Numbers limited to 20 players.

An exciting evening of badminton & fun!

Huge thanks to Timmy Clogher for giving up his Saturdays over the past few weeks to coach kids from across Roscommon 🏸

The improvement in the players has been fantastic, thanks to the skills, drills, encouragement, and fun Timmy brought each week.

They also participated in the following competitions: Division 2 All Irelands, National School All Irelands, Community Games, 2 blitzes and Inter County competition.

As we take a short summer break, we hope Saturday badminton will return in August.

Thanks again, Timmy, for all your time, energy, and passion — it’s greatly appreciated by the players, parents, and club alike. 🙌

It’s summertime, and Roscommon Badminton is still going strong!

A number of our young badminton players travelled to Castlebar on Friday to play in what was a very successful day for the group.

Out of 14 who travelled, 8 received medals. Everyone got plenty of games in both singles and doubles. It was great to see the support they gave each other throughout the day.

The big question at the end of the day was "when can we do that again?"!🏸

A big thank you to Miriam Magee for joining us at Roscommon Badminton Club for our adult session yesterday evening!🏸
It was fantastic to have Miriam on court, sharing her experience and energy with everyone.

Miriam is currently in Roscommon leading an Easter Badminton Camp for girls, and we’re delighted to have her involved in promoting and developing the sport locally.
