That’s a wrap on the Inter-Club League for 2026! 🏁

The series wrapped up on Thursday night with some hard-fought laps around the Poulaphoca circuit.

Massive congratulations to Adam Greally, who took the overall league title by a country mile—like a fine w**e, he just keeps getting better. A huge shoutout as well to Conor Sharkey, claiming a brilliant 6th overall in his very first year of racing.

Chapeau to every single club member who pinned on a number this season—whether you scored points, suffered in the red, got dropped, clawed your way back on, or just gave it everything. It really is the most craic you can have on a bike.

A huge thank you as well to everyone who helped out with marshalling and organisation across the series—we couldn't do it without you.

🚨ENTRY CLOSING DATE EXTENDED TO FRIDAY 29th MAY🚨

We have decided to extend the deadline so get signed for for what is sure to be a challenging day on a dreamy circuit and culminating with a finish up the iconic Wicklow Gap ⛰️

Refreshments will be laid on by the club and for recovery, check out our onsite friends Bosca Sauna at race HQ (Ballymore Eustace GAA Club) for a relaxing sauna.

Well done to Adam Greally for his 3rd place finish in todays Masters criterium in Dublin. 🥳

Eventually whittled down to just five riders surving what was a tricky wet course, Adam was just pipped on the line by the slimmest of margins.

The Wicklow Gap is waiting... but we need the numbers to get there. ⛰️🛑

We want to be completely transparent with the racing community: current entries for the Wicklow Classic are significantly below where they need to be to make the event viable.

Entry Closing Date: Friday, May 22nd. 🗓️

St. Tiernan’s is a small club. We don’t have big corporate sponsors—we are just a group of volunteers who really, really want to give something back to the domestic racing scene.

However, we simply cannot run this race at a significant loss. To ensure the flag drops on May 31st, we need a commitment from the peloton this week.

Please don’t wait until the 22nd. If you are planning to race, sign up today, spread the word in your club WhatsApp groups, and help us make this happen.

Good luck to club stalwart Daragh O'Toole as he takes on the Fred Whitton Challenge in Cumbria this Sunday. With such notable climbs as Kirkstone, Honister and the dreaded Hardknott Pass (30% gradient) this isn't considered the hardest sportive in Britain without good reason. Up up up Daragh!
