It is with great sadness that the members of Otway Golf Club extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Nora Dunne on her recent passing.

Nora was a much-loved member of Otway Golf Club and proudly served as Lady Captain, a role she carried out with great dedication and warmth. She made a valued contribution to our club and will be fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

We extend our sincere condolences to Nora’s family at this very sad time. Our thoughts and prayers are with them as they mourn their loss.

May Nora’s gentle soul Rest in Peace.

🏌️‍♂️Captain’s Day at Otway Golf Club – Kevin McAteer🏌️‍♀️

A fantastic day was had at Otway for Captain Kevin McAteer’s Captain’s Day.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and played, helping to make it such an enjoyable and memorable occasion. The weather was kind to us for the most part, with some good conditions throughout the day, although we did get caught by a few showers! 🌦️

A special word of thanks to our greenkeepers Damian and Seamus for all their hard work in preparing the course and keeping it in great condition.

A massive thank you to Mairead Gallagher for providing the wonderful food. It was greatly appreciated by everyone and was the perfect way to finish off a brilliant day. 🍽️

Finally, congratulations and thanks to Captain Kevin McAteer for a fantastic Captain’s Day and for all his hard work throughout his year as Captain.

Huge congratulations to our Minor League team, who had a superb victory in the away semi-final against a tough Bundoran team. 👏🏌️‍♂️

A big thanks to Bundoran GC for their great gamesmanship and hospitality.

Our team are now through to the Minor League Final, which will be confirmed over the next few weeks. 🏆

⛳ A Big Thank You to Rosapenna Ladies 🌸

We were delighted to welcome Lady Captain Marina Hamilton and all the ladies from Rosapenna Golf Club to Otway Golf Club for Marina’s Captain’s Outing.

It was a pleasure to host such a wonderful group, and we hope everyone enjoyed their day at Otway. Marina is a regular and very welcome visitor to our competitions, and we truly appreciate her choosing Otway GC for her Captain’s Outing this year.

Thank you, Marina, and to all the Rosapenna ladies for joining us. It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces and enjoy a great day of golf and friendship🏌️‍♀️💚

A fantastic weekend was had at Otway Golf Club for our Scramble Competition on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th August. Thankfully, the weather was kind to us for the most part, with just a few showers along the way! 🌦️

The members of Otway Golf Club recently came together for a fundraising competition in support of the Gatin family following the devastating fire that destroyed their family home.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our members, along with additional donations received, we were delighted to present a sizeable donation to the Gatin family.
