Our B team continued their league cup action this afternoon with a 6-1 win against Adare in holycross.
Adare started strong but with the first goal coming to Rathkeale from Pietro and following that 10 minutes later he got his second
The boys pushed on and got rewarded 2 more goals coming from Cian Ronan and Jordan Higgins
Just before half time Adare came back with a free kick that was taken well and brought the match to 4-1 at half time
Rathkeale pushed on into the second half and pressed their advantage with Luke Murphy scoring
With not long left Sean Mulcahy got taken down in adares box which gave Tony McCarthy the opportunity to convert it to make it 6-1
We now shift our focus to Newcastlewest B next Sunday as we close out the group stage of the League Cup

Great team performance today the girls played the last 11 minutes with 9 players and still held on for the win.
