Don’t worry… Kildangan’s next festival is less than two weeks away! 😎

Our 25th Anniversary Festival of Football takes over More O’Ferrall Park on Saturday 12 September, and we want everyone to be part of it.

Players young and old, parents, coaches, former players, families and anyone from the local community who’d like to come down and join the fun — this day is for you.

🏐 Football from U6 right through to the adults
🌭 BBQ and food throughout the afternoon
🎭 Fancy dress, water balloons & a few surprises
📸 Whole-club photo
🎟️ Completely FREE

And if you haven’t played football in 20 years — or ever — we still want you in the adult game. Five minutes is plenty!

🍰 We need your baking too! If you can, bring along a homemade cake, buns or something for the table and help us feed the masses.

We are so proud of our Trinity Gaels players who made the trip today to support Abigail during her charity run in aid of breast cancer support.
The girls rallied behind their teammate for a cause that is so close to her heart, helping to raise an unbelievable €2,310 — and counting! 💗🎀
Days like today truly show the value of our community and the lifelong friendships and bonds that are formed through sport.
A huge shout-out to Kathryn and Bronwyn Gargan, who are taking on the 10K in Cork on Sunday, 6th September! 👏💗

Brilliant. Well done girls

Well done to the senior girls yesterday evening on a fantastic win, securing their place in the quarter-final in two weeks’ time! 👏💚💛

It was an exciting, end-to-end game right up until the final whistle. KN had great performances all over the pitch, with Muireann and Síofra, to name just a few, putting in fantastic performances and helping push KN on to secure the win.

Half-time score was **KN 0-8 to 0-6**.

It was a greasy night for football, which made the conditions difficult for both sides, but the girls showed great determination and kept battling right to the end.

The final score was **KN 0-16 to 2-8**. 🎉

Well done, ladies! 💪👏 A brilliant team performance and we look forward to the quarter-final in two weeks! 💚💛

💚💛 Battling performance, but no reward for our Seniors

Castlemitchell 2-16

Our Seniors came away empty-handed from Round 2 of the Tom Cross Junior Football Championship, despite a battling performance against a strong Castlemitchell side in Kilcullen.

Kildangan produced an excellent first-half display and will feel unfortunate to have gone in two points behind after enjoying the better of much of the opening half. A crucial spell either side of half-time ultimately swung the game Castlemitchell’s way, but the lads kept battling right to the final whistle.

Attention now turns to Round 3 against Cappagh on Sunday week in Clane — a winner-takes-all encounter with a place in the knockout stages on the line.

Plenty still to play for. 💚💛
