All ideas welcome 💡

We are carrying out a community survey this week in Oldcastle. We want to find out what people who live or work in Oldcastle think - do we need more community facilities? Do we need a community centre? Places to sit and chat? We need to hear your opinions so that we can work with local clubs & groups and also lobby the local authority knowing what it is that people want for our wee town.

Over to you - please take a few minutes to fill in our survey which you can find in the library, in GP's surgeries, and in McQuaid's Pharmacy. During the week we will have people out and about in the town as well, so there will be plenty of opportunity.

The survey is completely anonymous so please feel free to have your say.

Everyone at Oldcastle United would like to send our condolences to our club treasurer & u12 head coach Christian McManus and his family on the passing of his father Stephen over the weekend. Our thoughts are with the McManus family during this difficult time.
May Stephen Rest in Peace 💙

Sadly missed by his loving family: wife Betty; children Regina (Paul), Steve (Jayne), Gary (Madge), Kenneth (Dee) & Christian (Jean); brothers Jimmy, Thomas, and Paddy; sisters Marian, Trisha, Angela, Valerie and Lillian; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Reposing at his home (A82 V6P9) on Tuesday, 15th September, from 5 PM to 8 PM, with removal on Wednesday morning to St. Colmcille’s Church, Kells, for the 11 AM Funeral Mass, followed by cremation at 1:30 PM at Lakelands Funeral Home & Crematorium.

Finished all level in The Gilson Park this morning as Oldcastle Utd & Cootehill Harps played out an entertaining draw in the North East Football League Clinton Travel Division 2

Five games left for the lads this season with four in the park so we will need more great support like today to help us finish the season out strong. Monaghan Town make the trip to Oldcastle next Sunday morning at 11am, see you all there ⚽️🔵⚪️
