The presentation of the Guaranteed Irish club awards has taken place and St Brigids GFC in conjunction with Briody Beds are delighted to be the recipient of €5000 award. We would like to sincerely thank Martin, David and the Briody family along with all their staff for their continued support of our club and wish them continued success. Also thanks to Guaranteed Irish for this initiative.

St. Fiach’s N.S. Annual Produce Swap & Share 🌱🍎🌻

​St. Fiach’s N.S. Green Schools Committee, along with 5th & 6th Class and Ms. Reynolds, are hosting their annual Produce Swap & Share, and the whole community is invited to take part!

​Event Details:
​Date: Wednesday, 16th September
​Time: 1:30 pm – 2:45 pm
​Location: St. Fiach's N.S., Ballinacree

​How It Works:
​Bring What You Can: Any spare garden or kitchen produce is welcome—flowers, fruit, vegetables, jams, home bakes, plant starters, seeds, saplings, or strawberry runners.

​Take What You Need: You do NOT need to bring anything to participate! Feel free to pop along with a bag and take home whatever fresh, local goodies you’d like. All produce is completely free.

​This was a fantastic local event last year, so please pop down to support the school kids and spread the word to family, friends, neighbours, and grandparents!

St Vincents 1.20 St Brigids 0.13
St Brigids played their third and final match in the group stage of the Junior A championship at Dunganny on Saturday afternoon. After a closely fought first half St Vincents held a two point lead going in at half time 0.09 to 0.07.
However soon into the second half St Vincents converted a penalty as well as several well taken two pointers from frees by their goalkeeper which saw them pull away. St Brigids fought valiantly until the end without achieving the desired result. Although St Brigids played some excellent football on the day they were up against a physically stronger and more experienced outfit.
St Brigids now face a relegation play off against the losers of the St Marys v Dunderry game in early October.
