🎓✨ CAO Round One✨🎓

Tomorrow is a big day as Round One CAO offers are released from 2pm🤞🍀

A little reminder: CAO offers will be released in batches, so don’t panic if you see friends or classmates receiving their offers before you do. Offers may begin from noon onwards, so keep an eye on your CAO account!📱💻

📌 If you receive an offer:
✅ Read the offer carefully
✅ Check the course and college details
✅ You have until 3pm on Tuesday, 1st September to accept your offer.

If you don’t receive an offer in Round One, try not to worry. There are further CAO rounds, and additional options such as Available Places may also become available from Thursday, new post coming soon.

Most importantly, remember that one offer, or the timing of an offer, does not define your future. Take your time, read everything carefully and ask for advice if you’re unsure about your options!

For the first time, students following the Level 1 and Level 2 Learning Programmes will also receive results. This is a wonderful milestone for inclusion and equality in education, and an achievement that deserves to be celebrated 🙌

Whatever tomorrow brings, remember how much you have already achieved. Take a moment to be proud of yourself and everything you have accomplished 🌟

There may be excitement, relief, uncertainty or even disappointment and all of those feelings are okay. Your results are not the measure of your potential or your future. There are many different pathways to where you want to go. We will be in school from 10-12 tomorrow if you would like to drop in!

☎️ LEAVING CERT RESULTS SUPPORT FOR STUDENTS & PARENTS

Leaving Cert results day can bring a mix of excitement, relief and uncertainty and it’s completely normal to have questions about what comes next!

The Student & Parent Leaving Cert Helpline, established and run by the Institute of Guidance Counsellors (IGC), is available to provide support and guidance to students and parents during this important time.

Whether you have questions about CAO offers, course options, points, appeals or next steps, reaching out for guidance can help you feel more informed and confident about the decisions ahead.

Remember, there is more than one pathway to your future and you don’t have to figure it all out alone 🌟

We welcome our 6th Year and LCA 2 students to RCS this Friday from 10am–12pm ☕️

As Leaving Certificate results will be available online from 10am, students are very welcome to come into school to chat about their results, seek advice about their next steps, or simply catch up with friends over a cup of tea.

📢 CANDIDATE SELF SERVICE PORTAL (CSSP) REOPENS TODAY!

If you’re applying for a course, apprenticeship, college place or other education opportunity, don’t forget that the Candidate Self Service Portal reopens from 2pm today, Wednesday 12th August. ⏰

This is your opportunity to:

🔐 Register if you haven’t already
🔑 Check your password and make sure you can log in
📋 Make sure your details are correct
✅ Get yourself ready for the next stage of the application process

Why is this important?
Don’t leave it until the last minute to discover you can’t access your account or remember your login details. Getting access sorted now means one less thing to worry about when deadlines are approaching. Remember, this is where you will access your LC results, appeals, grades etc!
