He has a BA (Hons) in Psychology and is a qualified yoga teacher. He has taught yoga at the Dublin Buddhist Centre, Sunyata retreat centre and to Tipperary senior county hurlers. He is a director and teacher at Sunyata Retreat centre, Co. Clare where he teachers yoga and meditation.
