Sailing on Lough Derg since 1835 The yacht club is one of the oldest in Ireland.
The mission of LDYC is to promote the life-long sport, and art, of sailing to our junior sailors, young adults and senior members, in a safe, structured and responsible environment,whether at a competitive or recreational level,and to encourage a sense of sportsmanship, seamanship and fair play.
