Hesitation …. The biggest killer on and off the pitch …. Act fast, act early, act ugly, act often

❔❔What Is It I Do ❔❔
At Unbeatable we ask questions
Deliberate questions
Purposeful questions
Focused questions
And we then put the answers into action

One of the things I've noticed after years of coaching is that players rarely realise where their attention has gone.
You'll hear things like:
*"The ref was terrible."*
*"She was much bigger than me."*
*"I couldn't stop thinking about the mistake I made."*
None of those things are unusual.
We've all been there.
But what if the real issue isn't confidence?
What if it's attention?
That's the idea behind one of the first philosophies we teach called **Mirrors & Windows**.
When you're looking through the window, your attention is on everything outside of yourself.
When you're looking in the mirror, your attention comes back to the only person you can influence...
You.
Your effort.
Your decisions.
Your communication.
Your response.
I'd love to know...
As a player, coach or parent, what tends to steal your attention the most during a game?

In week one with the U15s we discussed playing the hands were dealt and more importantly - on and off the pitch - winning is easy, when you simply keeping flipping the cards until you find the right one

I’m at a workshop with my coach and we’ve spent the morning looking at the progress we’ve made so far this year.
He’s asked us to share our wins in the hope it will inspire other people.
So, here are my top 5 wins for this quarter. What are yours? >>>
- making drop offs and bedtime 5+ nights a week
- completing first draft of my coaching book
- hosting my first in person workshop
- Rejoining alliance
- Getting house ready for grandchild’s arrival

or you know that other thing

you dont have the headspace to handle it

Comment “ FIX” and I’ll send you across your stater pack

I was busy all day but somehow still felt like I was getting nowhere.
I kept saying “I’ll start Monday”, but Monday comes and goes.
You fall off the wagon across the board - with my heatlh, with my parenting , with my relationship
I knew what I should be doing .... Been teaching it for 18 years … but I simply was just not doing it.
Instead, the evening disappears scrolling your phone or watching another series because you’re exhausted.
Weeks turn into months.
I was working hard, but It felt like life was just rolling through the same routine.same arguments, same conversations, same frustrations, same sense of one step forward two steps back
Deep down I knew I want more.
~~~~~~~
Funnily enough most of the parents and adults I talk to have a similar pattern they are living through ..... but how can things be different
Imagine waking up with clarity instead of overwhelm.
You feel lighter mentally and physically.
You actually follow through on the things you said you’d do.
You train consistently.
You manage your time better.
Work stops taking over your personal life.
You have more energy, you’re more present with your family, and you finally feel like you're moving forward instead of standing still.
Not just fitter — but in control again.
>
I’m not teaching theory.
I lived this pattern myself.
Full time job.
Busy family life.
Four children aged 6 to 23.
I was stuck in the same stop-start cycle many people experience.
Over the last 6 months I focused on changing my mindset and habits.
I lost over 20 pounds, improved my lifestyle, and created more balance in my home life.
Doing what I said I would do
The system I’ll show you is the same process that helped me break the procrastination cycle and start building momentum again.
