💡 Tip of the Week - Thinking about upgrading your road bike? One of the biggest decisions you'll face is whether to choose an aero road bike or a more traditional lightweight or endurance-focused model.
Aero bikes are designed to reduce drag and maximise speed, while non-aero bikes often prioritise lower weight, comfort, and all-round versatility. The right choice depends on your riding goals, the terrain you ride, and the type of cycling you enjoy most.
In our latest blog, we break down the key differences between aero and non-aero road bikes and explain how each design affects performance on the road.
Have a read before making your next bike upgrade.

🌞 Hot tips for hot weather riding. Most of this is common sense, but since we're not used to such lovely weather and the urge to over-enjoy it is strong, here's a refresher course that will keep you out of A&E with heatstroke:
• Hydrate before, during and after your ride
Don’t wait until you’re thirsty — sip regularly.
• Wear sunscreen
Even on cloudy days, UV exposure adds up fast.
• Dress light
Choose breathable, moisture-wicking kit and ventilated helmets.
• Ride early or late
Avoid peak afternoon heat when temperatures are highest.
• Ease the pace
Hot weather puts extra stress on your body — listen to it.
• Replace electrolytes
Water alone isn’t always enough on longer rides.
• Check your tyres
Heat can increase tyre pressure, so avoid overinflating.
• Fuel properly
Eat small amounts regularly to keep energy levels steady.
Most importantly: know when to stop. There’s no shame in cutting a ride short in extreme heat.
Important to know - we have a huge range of cycling gear, fuels, electrolytes and more...
