Today Marie Donnelly held her lady Captains Prize on the most perfect day in Lough Owel that was in magnificent condition thanks to Paul Devaney and Mr Nigel McGyver Balfe .
With 47 players turning out it shows the esteem we all hold Marie in. A wonderful player and a wonderful person .
Marie held a 2 ball scramble and the fun and laughter could be heard all over the course.

With the same score Dozzer Donnelly , a very proud daddy today , with Liam Nelis , got third .
Pat Malone and John o Keefe got second prize .
Both playing magnificent and a big week ahead in the inter counties.
The winners , with a paltry 26 under gross , incredible, Sean Dinnegan and Dean Dinnegan .

Ladies Captain Day next Sunday 23rd of August for our Marie Donnelly.
Marie is having a 2 ball scramble at 11 am .
Can all players be at 10.30 so we can pick teams for players without partners .
Marie is a terrific player , playing for Westmeath last year and winning consistently in lough Owel. If she practiced as much as Dozzer Donnelly she would give Mark Newman a run for his money 😆😆😆...

Lough Owel will beclosed from 3 pm Friday and Saturday.
We are holding our James Corcoran major this Friday and Saturday, 36 nett 36 gross.
All players favourite competition of the year .
