Mullingar Hockey Club

Under 14/16s girls training returns on Monday the 7th of September. All trainings takes place in Wilson’s Hospital School, just a ten minute drive from Mullingar Town.

All you need to know;
•No experience needed!
•No stick needed. We can provide a stick for trainings until you get your own.
•All you need is a pair of shin pads and a gum-shield.
•Training starts at 7pm and will be finished at 8:15pm.

What’s in it for you;
•When membership is paid, Mullingar HC will provide players with some training gear.
•It’s a great way to meet new people and play a new sport.
•A relaxed but competitive environment.
•A trip at the end of the year to watch an international hockey match.
•Most importantly, having fun while getting fit.

The Club are delighted to announce the engagement of two our stalwarts, Marc Watters and Ruby Murray.
Both have been involved with the Club since they could walk and Ruby's parents Fred and Paula also met through playing with Mullingar Hockey Club.

Everyone at the Club wishes them a lifetime of happiness and if some of that happiness involves lifting some silverware, then bring it on......💛🖤

Men’s training is back!

On the 18th of August Mullingar Men’s will return to the pitch for preseason. As always we are open to new members. We are looking for both experienced and inexperienced players to join our club. Once you are aged 15+ you are able to join.
Training will take place in Wilson's Hospital School on a Tuesday starting at 7:15pm and finishing at 9pm.

Ladies training is back!

On the 6th of August Mullingar Ladies will return to the pitch for preseason. As always we are open to new members. We are looking for both experienced and inexperienced players to join our club. Once you are aged 15+ you are able to join.
Training will take place in Wilson's Hospital School starting at 7pm and finishing at 8:45pm.

We are super excited for the season ahead. For the first time in ten years we will be having two ladies teams compete in the Leinster Hockey League. 🏑 Mullingar Hockey Club Mixed Blitz – Save the Date! 🏑

We’re hosting a 7-a-side Mixed Blitz on Friday 17th July, starting at 7.00pm (venue TBC).

Whether you’re a current player, returning to hockey, or just fancy a fun evening on the pitch, we’d love to have you there!

✅ Mixed teams (teams will be created)
✅ All abilities welcome
✅ Anyone with Hockey Ireland insurance can take part
✅ €5 per entry

📅 Entries close on Friday 3rd July, so be sure to sign up before then using the QR code on the poster.

Well done to 4th year student James O'M and our three 5th year students, Oisín, Oscar and Aran, who were involved with the Mullingar men’s hockey team in their fantastic win over Three Rock Rovers this past weekend.
Each of the boys got on the scoresheet in an impressive 7–1 victory for the club. Although it was the final game of the season, the boys are already looking ahead to next year.
They hope to see more students from the school will get involved in playing for both the school and the club.
