We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Tom Brereton.
Tom kept our grounds going for many years, without his care and dedication there has been many a time we wouldn’t have had a field without him.
All in Shinrone United FC would like to express their sincere condolences to all of Toms family, especially his wife Patsy, children Thomas, Ger and Pamela, his beloved grandchildren, extended family and his wide circle of friends.
May his gentle soul Rest in Peace ❤️🤍

Unfortunately it wasn’t to be for our B’s today in the Munster Shield as they just came up short against Sleivenamon Celtic/ Kilsheelan United FC in a thrilling 7-8 penalty shootout, after what was a fantastic game that finished 3-3 at the end of normal time, with a hat-trick from John Pio Fitzpatrick. Hard luck boys ❤️🤍

⚠️Important Notice⚠️

As we prepare for our game today, we have found a number of glass b**r bottles on our pitch, some of them smashed.
We cannot stress enough how dangerous this is for not only our players but our community as a whole. It could have caused great harm.
We have also been having some serious problems with people riding e-scooters/e-bikes on our pitch. This is causing a lot of damage. We would like to reiterate that no type of these vehicles are to be used on our pitch.
This is a reminder that CCTV is operational around the community centre and if these problems continue we will be taking the matter further.
We are a club that prides ourselves on our community, and we ask that people please respect our players, supporters and facilities and discourage any anti-social behaviour.
