A huge congratulations to our Senior Ladies on a fantastic semi-final win and securing their place in the final! 👏💪🔵⚪️

The ladies were also delighted to receive their fantastic new gear this week. A massive thank you to Liam from McGreals Pharmacy for their very generous sponsorship of the team gear, and to Mark Fahey for kindly sponsoring the new jackets. Here’s some pictures that were captured on the day.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, helped out, sponsored, donated or simply came along to support us. It took a massive team effort to make the day happen and we are so grateful to everyone who played a part.

We will be back again next year for the Fittest Family 2027.

All at Monasterevan GFC were very sorry to hear of the passing of Noel Maher, a man who made a lasting contribution to both Monasterevan GFC and the wider Monasterevan community.

Noel was a member of the Monasterevan team that won the 1959 Kildare intermediate Football Championship, lining out at midfield. He is pictured here in the back row, centre, alongside his teammates Fay and Charlie Harrison.

Away from the football field, Noel also gave many years of service to the young people of our community as the first Principal of St Paul’s Secondary School, a role he held from the early 1970s until his retirement in 1999.

Monasterevan GFC extends our sincere condolences to Noel’s family, his friends, former colleagues and all who knew him at this sad time.

A proud part of our club’s history and of the Monasterevan community.

💙 A Huge Thank You to Our Fittest Family Obstacle Sponsors! 💙

We would like to say a massive thank you to all of the businesses who sponsored an obstacle for our Fittest Family event on Saturday.

Your generosity and support played a huge part in helping us put the event together and make the day such a success. We are incredibly lucky to have so many local businesses and supporters willing to get behind our club. 🔵⚪
