This school also encourages students to develop self confidence and social skills as well as enjoying the wonderful trappings the stage has to offer

Some pics of our very special evening in Athlone Civic offices celebrating Dancezone’s Civic reception and address of recognition. It was a beautiful evening. Huge thanks to all who attended. Special word of thanks to Nina & Ashley from Dance Awards Ireland who flew especially for the event and their awards to Dancezone Stage School last year received huge applause . This was one of those memorable moments that we will recall for many a day to come. 🚨🚨Some fantastic news as we return to class today to begin year 32 !🚨🚨

Last Friday , we had the ultimate privilege of attending a Civic Reception held in our honour in the Civic offices in Athlone.

The Civic Reception - the highest honour that can be awarded at County level was bestowed upon Dancezone Stage School in recognition for their exceptional contribution to the community spanning over 30+ years.

Now in our 4th decade Dancezone Stage are still committed to delivering excellence locally and nationally.

This evening will be remembered and celebrated as one of the most important achievements for the Dancezone family past and present . It is written and recorded into the history books forever more.

Huge thanks to The Municipal District of Athlone Moate on behalf of Westmeath County Council for hosting the wonderful event. Thank you all who attended and the local council members Cllr, Liam McDaniel (Mayor), Cllr Tom Farrell, Cllr John Dolan, Cllr Vinny McCormack. Cllr John Gibbons who gave of their time so generously and special mention to Councillor Tom Farrell who nominated us.

This is an incredible honour and one we will cherish forever. (More pics to follow)

Yesterday morning we received the most exciting news ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
(We spent the entire day taking it all in)

Dancezone Stage School and Sandra have been nominated in ….. 12 categories…. (Yes you are reading it correctly 12 ) for the prestigious Dance Awards Ireland.

This ceremony is held in The Round Room at the Mansion House in October.
